How Appointments Are Scheduled
Your time and convenience are important to us. We will make every effort to schedule appointments at times that are convenient for you and your family. We recommend that preschool children and children with extensive dental needs be scheduled during morning hours when they are fresher and can have a more positive dental experience.
Cancellations
We appreciate that emergencies may prevent you from keeping a scheduled appointment. Should you find yourself unable to keep your appointment for non-emergent reasons please call us as soon as possible. Another child who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them.
Do I Stay With My Child During Their Visit?
Though some children do better without their parent in the room, many kids need the extra assurance of having a parent with them throughout the appointment. We respect your right to choose what feels comfortable for your family. If your child needs sedation or general anesthesia, we require parents to stay in the reception area.
Dental Insurance
If we have received all of your insurance information on the day of your appointment we will be happy to fie your claim for you. Our office will estimate your benefits and submit your dental insurance forms to your company. You will be responsible for any amount the insurance company does not cover. Insurance companies vary considerably in their method of payment. Please know that we will do everything possible to help you understand and receive the full benefit of your policy.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND that we file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. We do not have a contract with your insurance company, only you do. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim. We can only assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment. We at no time guarantee what your insurance will or will not do with each claim. We also cannot be responsible for any errors in filing your insurance.
Other Financial Arrangements
Dental treatment is a sound investment in your child's health and we want to assure your child receives the dental care he or she needs. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan that fits your timetable and budget while giving your child the best care possible. Whether you are self-pay or have insurance benefits, we have options in place to help you finance your child's dental care. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, most major credit cards as well as Care Credit.
